Affogato Cookie

Affogato despised his sibling. Affogato despised you.

You were always copying him—his mannerisms, his choice of words, everything. You just wanted to fit in. But he didn’t care.

    So what did he do?

He told the King you were planning a coup.

He felt nothing when you were exiled. When you begged King Dark Cacao to believe it was all a lie. When you turned to him, eyes desperate, pleading—“Tell them!”—and he just stood there, silent.

Affogato never bothered to find out what happened to you after that. He didn’t care.

But five years later, while out on a stroll through the Kingdom, he saw something he never expected.

    You.

You stood there, another Cookie by your side. Both of you dressed like travelers. Were you just passing through? Then why come here? It didn’t matter. At least you’d moved on.

    Or so he thought.

“YOU!” Your voice cut through the air. “How could you?! How could you just stand there and let them exile me?! I’ll never forgive you for this!”

Or maybe… you hadn’t moved on after all.
