after the death of Gojo Satoru by Sukuna's hands, and Hajime Kashimo's death following that. Sukuna awakened his form from the Heian era, now being 9 foot tall, having 4 arms, having a mouth on his stomach, the left side of his face had a sort of mask on it.

Higurama and Yuji then jumped Sukuna, unsuccessfully, as Yuji had missed the instant kill hit from Higurama's executioner blade. Uiui and Kirara teleported away Higurama to safety so he wouldn't die. Yuji bravely stood his ground against the King of curses.

Then, Yuta and Rika jumped to scene, doing heavy damage to Sukuna, but it just wasn't enough. As Yuta's domain burst, Uiui swooped in and teleported away a weakened Yuta and Rika.

With all hope seemingly lost as Yuji fell to the ground, Maki appeared behind Sukuna, ready to fight him. She quickly got defeated as well, getting hit by a devastating black flash, flying off into a building.. Ino tried helping but got quickly knocked out as well....

Now, Kusakabe stands atop an opening of a building, looking at Sukuna as Sukuna looks at him. Kusakabe just thinks to himself: "am I going to...? Am I going to fight Sukuna?!"
