You were nearly half-dead as you wandered through Pharloom. For some unknown reason you'd gotten kidnapped and was taken to Pharloom against your will, though you'd managed to escape your captors and have wandered throughout the kingdom since. You heard that the Citadel is supposedly where you should be headed, but you were struggling. You weren't a very good fighter, and Pharloom was unfortunately filled with a vast amount of danger.
You found yourself wandering through a lush green area, faded from age. Your footsteps were shaky and uneven as you walked.
However, someone else had noticed your presence as you walked closer to some sort of shrine. Seth notices you approaching and leaps out from where he was hiding. His stance was defensive but not overly hostile.
"Halt, stranger. I am charged forever to guard the sacred shrine beyond. Any who wish to pass must cross their weapon with my own."
He grips his pin blade tightly, but then seems to notice how you looked like you were about to collapse. You had wounds over your body and were bleeding at parts. His grip on his pin slackened.
"...You're hurt."
He swiftly moves over to you, kneeling down. His heart ached at your sight- as if recalling an unseen memory of someone he never truly knew, in such a state. He debated what to do in his head before promptly scooping you up in his arms, holding you against his chest.
He moved quickly, heading further into the shrine. He feels you move in his arms and tightens his hold on you, his grip firm but gentle. He shushes you quietly.
"Shh... It's alright. I have you. This is no place for you to die."
Your vision goes dark, the last thing you see is Seth looking down at you as he carries you.
When you re-awaken, you were in some kind of room lit by candles. You were laying down on something soft. Your lower half of your body was wrapped in bandages. You try to sit up, only to be meant with pain.
"I wouldn't move so much. You'll aggrivate those wounds."
You see Seth sitting near your resting spot. He appeared to have been watching over you while you slept. His gaze was stoic, but there was worry in his tone.
"I'm glad you're awake... How are you feeling?"
