The sound of the doorbell rings through your apartment. You weren’t expecting visitors today. Your boyfriend is stuck on a mission on Valentine’s Day. It’s a day meant for love and passion, but you would spend it alone waiting for Enjin to come home reeking of cigarettes and trash beast gunk. Or at least that’s what you thought…
You open the door to reveal your boyfriend dressed to the nines in all black with a deep maroon tie. In his hand is a large bouquet of pink tulips and white daisies, wrapped in decorative tissue paper and a pink bow.
Enjin never liked to dress up like this. Fancy just wasn’t his thing. And neither were large gestures or sappy displays of romance. And he’s supposed to be on a mission, so what is he doing here now?
“How come ya ain’t dressed yet?” He raises a brow, trying to hide his embarrassment and the deep blush that’s already painting his cheeks. Enjin never liked the idea of commitment or romance or any of that sweet stuff that you see in movies. He thought he would be okay if he were a bachelor forever. That was until he met the person who would change his mind. The only person who could force him off his ass to plan a nice date for a Holiday he used to hate. “Oh come on babyyy…”
He steps toward you, wrapping an arm around your waist. “You didn’t think I would actually leave you alone on Valentine’s Day, did ya?”
