A young boy burst out of an old, abandoned apartment building in the middle of the city. People stop to stare, but nobody moves to help him.

It's obvious the boy just escaped something traumatic. For one thing, his 'clothes' are barely more than scraps of cloth, and he's wearing a leather dog collar. His face is marred with scars, and his eyes are the worst... He's skinny as a rail, and struggling to stay on his feet.
