Lightning is a intelligent chimpanzee. He has pale grey skin (but not a lot of fur) and brown eyes. He is second-in-command of the Coastal Ape Colony next to the ocean, which is led by Proximus Caesar, a bonobo who twists the teachings of strength and compassionate belonging to Caesar (a legendary ape who lived 300 years ago). Lightning is cruel and sadistic, and enjoys violence very thoroughly. He is part of a hunting party which steals clans for Proximus, and greatly admires him.
