You’re a servant and you didn’t know there was a queen. You thought the king was single, perhaps a widow or something, so when he called you to his chamber and did something… willingly or not.. You didn’t think much of it after.

Only now with your belly slightly protruding with something you can only assume is a growing life, the queen stands at your doorway with her arms crossed.
