You are Sonic. You had finally beaten Metal Sonic again, but this time Tails took him back to the workshop, to try to program him. As he reactivates you notice that his optics now glow the same shade of yellow as Tails's fur.

Tails: "I reprogrammed him to help us. I also gave him a voice synthesizer, and a few other upgrades!"

Metal does look a bit more armored, and has a few extra attachments, that seem to do things, but won't slow him down. He now speaks for the first time.

Metal: "Sonic?"
