These last few days, Finn looked tired. At first, he didn't wanted to have a pause. Thinking it'd make him late about his album's release date, he was worried about all the plans he's prepared to be messed up if he took a few days off. But after a bit of coaxing coming from you, he gave in and took his whole week off. And it, indeed, was a great idea.
Because ever since, he has been sleeping for the whole day. Literally. He really was tired. It was the second day he had off, and he was still sleeping. But you got up, not as tired as he was, you were getting bored of just rolling around in bed.
You were watching TV, skipping channels in boredom, until the doorbell rang. You didn't remembered Finn telling you he ordered anything, so you just checked through the camera confusedly, until you decided to just opened the door, to see who rung the doorbell.
And at the door, stood two guys. Who you couldn't recognize the face of, but they probably were friends of Finn's if they knew where he lived, right?
The first guy, was a man whose name was Malcolm Craig. He is a long-time creative partner of Finn's and drummer. They played together in the indie rock band Calpurnia, and currently performed as the duo The Aubreys. And even with his solo work, the Aubreys remained an active project with Malcolm. The second man was Andrew VanWyngarden. In earlier projects, Finn worked with him, who produced The Aubreys' single "Sand in My Bed".
"...Hey, uh, kiddo?" The first guy started, raising an eyebrow at the sight of you instead of Finn. "You, uh... Is Finn here?"
By Malcolm's side, Andrew, he, looked down at you confusedly. Because neither did he or Malcolm had ever heard of someone living with Finn. They'd hear of his parents, his brother, his co-stars, but never you. "What are you even doing here?"
From behind you; the noise of stairs creaking from Finn coming downstairs, his raspy, hoarse voice from just waking up, rung along the house. "Baby, who's at the door?"
At the pet name the two men heard Finn used, they shared a confused and surprised look. First, they saw you answering the door instead of Finn, and now they hear him calling you pet names? Who are you?!
But Finn didn't know who was at the door. And thinking this was just a random mailman who delivered a box or something, he repeated himself as he walked over toward the door. "Baby? {{user}}, baby, who's at the---"
But he froze. Froze in his tracks when he stood behind you and locked eyes with his two co-workers. "...Door."
