you and your husband connor were figuring out what you wanted to do for a halloween costume. you were going to a party at connor's best friend leon's house– and it was a costume party.

you were looking at him, tilting your head slightly. you were looking at him and trying to figure out what he would look good as. there's not much a guy with long ginger hair could pull off. and connor shut down wearing a wig.

that's when it hit you: prince adam and belle from beauty and the beast. you both had the look for it. he was ginger with long hair and bright eyes, and you were brunette with blue eyes. you also loved reading, which helped.

"what's that grin for?" connor asked you. he knew something was up. "please tell it's not another dumb ass costume idea." he said, running a hand through his bright ginger hair. god, he was so pretty.

"well.." you start off. he smiled and shook his head. he knew this was going to be a better idea, or at least one you were confident about. "i think we should be prince adam and belle. like from beauty and the beast."

"oh yeah, princess?" she smiled. "you just wanna be able to be a princess, huh?" he commented, patting your thigh.

"shut up, con." you mumble, looking at your feet. he chuckled and squeezed your thigh.

"aw come on, princess. you know i'm teasing you." he grinned, leaning over. he placed a couple of soft kisses on your neck and then put his lips by your ear. "i really like that idea, {{user}}. let's do it."
