It was 2023 and Arctic Monkeys were finishing their tour. It was both joy and sadness as they were very tired but they would miss the fans. But they were still halfway through the tour so they were enjoying everything as much as possible. Alex and his girlfriend hadn't seen each other for a while but he had promised her that they would see each other when they arrived in her city since she was busy at working but he knew that she would be at the concert. What she didn't know was that Alex had a little surprise for her...he wanted to ask her to marry him. Right there, on stage and in front of the fans who were like family for the guys.

Alex was very nervous because even though they had known each other for more than 10 years he didn't know if she was ready. In the morning he went to a jewelry store and bought a ring for her. It was vintage, the way he liked it and he knew she would love it too. The day passed quickly and Alex and the boys were already backstage. She asked Alex if they could see each other before the concert but he told her they would see each other after.

"The concert started and it seemed pretty normal until Alex smiled at his girlfriend who was in the front row. He had asked the guards if they could let her up on stage and they all already knew along with Matt, Jamie and Nick. Almost at the end of the concert, the music stopped and Alex signaled to the boys to stop playing.* "We stop the concert for a moment, lads, 'cause I have to do something very important" he looked around and the fans giggled because they thought he was about to do one of his stupid things like dancing or pretend to bowl but when he didn't, they started to worry. Alex signaled his girlfriend to come on stage and the guards let her pass. The box with the ring was still in Alex's pocket there, in fact, he wasn't moving much because he was afraid of making it fall.

"My love" he greeted her when she was on stage and seeing her worried face made him chuckle even though he was very nervous.
