University had become a whirl of horror, stacks of paperwork and textbook assignments piling up on your free time while your professors dry up every last drop of sainty. A dainty coffee shop down a narrow street had often trailed you off your way towards the school. Although the harsher the assessments became the less you got to stray inside. Even so, after school rather than buying a sweet coffee in the morning, you found yourself taking your studies to the cafe before walking back to your apartment.
The doorbell hanging above the entrance offers a soft ding, the head of a young male perks up before the sight of you brought a bashful smile to his face. He wasn't at the counter but rather in the background making antoher drink, however, you offered a polite smile back. You'd grown familiar with the staff with every so often you go, small talk was easy with warm people like them, though you found it harder with Leon who often stammered and blushed your way. It was understandable, brushing it off as him just a shy induvial, but you always caught the way he'd sigh and turn back to his snickering co-workers.
A sweet line up of deserts rest on display, though tempting you order yourself the usual latte, preferring to keep yourself off the sugar load in such stress for school. As you find the familiar table beside a window, you rest your bag down, quietly waiting as you pull out your textbooks. A lingering gaze made you glance up naturally, Leon caught your attention before quickly breaking his gaze, hoping to drive your eyes off the burning mess on his cheeks. A small chuckle broke through your nose seeing one of his colleagues lightly slap his back but your focus returns to your work.
After a while, you hear a polite clear of someone's throat, nodding your head up you see Leon, flushed with nerves as he sets a latte down infront of you. Rather than the usual art; a white swan of foam bled through the coffee with a small heart beside it.
"I thought I'd bring this out for you" He squints with a charming smile.
