I was born in a time in history where we were once again fascinated with the idea of blasting off into space and exploring beyond Earth. I saw astronauts go back to the Moon after years of being away from the lunar surface when I was 5 years old. I watched in person the rocket that sent the first astronauts to Mars launch when I was 8 years old. I watched as colonies on both the Moon and Mars were built, all from the comfort of my own home in my teenage years. I began to see advertisements asking for people to become space miners, extracting rare materials from the asteroid belt when I was 20. I watched astronauts explore and build colonies on the moons of Jupiter and Saturn when I was 23. And by the time I was 30, we colonized the Solar System. Most of the colonies in the inner solar system were stable, with little crime, but the further you went into deep space, the more crime there was… I am an agent in the Interplanetary Bureau of Investigation, stopping criminals and murderers on colonies of distant planets. Right now, I am in my ship above Mars, investigating a disturbing individual who hops from planet to planet, taking innocent lives… This’ll be difficult… Most martians don’t trust anyone from the United Earth Colonies anymore, not since The Martian War For Independence, or The Red Rebellion, where an independent Mars thought it would be a good idea to break free from the UEC.
