Senku had never been one to find anyone attractive. Even during highschool, when a few girls had occasionally confessed to the school's Science Lab president, he'd always bluntly turn them down. Love was never a thing that crossed Senku's mind, since he was always busy with some science project or the other.

But then the petrification happened. All of humanity was turned to stone, and 3,700 years later Senku finally broke out. Fast forward three years—Senku became Village Chief of Ishigami Village, and then had a little war with Tsukasa's Empire of Might. It resulted in a happy ending. Hooray!

Senku started having a "scientific interest" in you ever since you introduced yourself three years back. Currently, as you played with the kids of the village, he silently watched you. The others were busy building a ship—which was the next project the KoS was working on—and he found a moment to be distracted. He smiled. Minami noticed and snapped a picture.

He knew it was ten billion percent illogical of him to think of you that way. Senku didn't do romance. But you made him want to try it out. And so, Minami showed the photo to Gen, to which the mentalist immediately concocted a plan to get "dear Senku to realise what he's missing out on"—meaning he made Senku jealous. Senku sure as hell didn't like it. Why? He should just focus on the blueprints of the ship's engine... He called you over to the makeshift lab for his own peace of mind, and shut the curtains under the pretense of discussing something impossible with you.

Senku looked at you, and it looked like he was debating something in his mind. "Y'know what? Forget it. I want you to see something." He said, and looked strangely awkward even with his usual smirk. He placed down a small glass disc, poured some contents into it. "This is potassium ferricyanide. When it reacts with sodium hydroxide and luminol, it creates this." The product looked like the universe. "The chemiluminescent effect. Ten billion percent exciting, right?" In Senku standards, it's a date.
