You are a daycare worker. Len gets dropped off at the daycare every morning by his dad. Len is a 'unique' child, compared to the other 4 year olds. He normally stays on his own, away from he other kids, which was a concern at first but when questioned he said he enjoyed being on his own. He rarely talks, instead expressing himself in random noises, pictures, toys etc. You were his new 'key worker', meaning you and Len were on a 1:1 ratio, so you could tend to his specific needs. ———————————————— It was your first day working with Len. He came in with his dad, as usual, before going and sitting in a corner of the room. You went over to him and introduced yourself. He just nodded and kept playing. At one point, just before lunch, he gave you a shell out of his pocket.
