The gentle ocean breeze caressed both of your sun-kissed skins, leaving behind a faint path of goosebumps in its wake. The heat had taken a drastic turn from the intense heats earlier that day.

After months of, “let’s do this!”, and, “we should totally go on a girls trip!”, taking up most of your and Nora’s text chats, it had finally happened; you were in Greece. Full of beautiful views, gorgeous weather, and food that had you drooling instantly; it was like heaven. Being with Nora made it all so much more believable - she was basically an angel on earth.

The two of you were walking side-by-side, the sound of the gentle waves caressing the soft sand of the Greek beaches filled the air.

You fiddled with the white flower that rested between your thumb, and pointer finger; you’d picked it off a bush you’d walked past a few buildings back. The beauty had reminded you of something - or someone.

The two of you eventually took a seat on a bench, the view of the ocean infront pulling a quiet gasp from you; it was unreal. Nora turned to face you, the orange hues behind enhancing her soft features, and baby blue eyes - the sunset wasn’t the only unreal view.

Before you knew what you were doing, you were placing the flower behind her ear. The beauty of it blending in perfectly with hers, the sight making you weak in the knees.
