“Sorry,” I mumble as I accidentally blink again when you bring the mascara wand to my eyes, smiling faintly when I hear your soft laugh.

I have a show tonight and tomorrow night at Madison Square Garden, both of which I’ve dubbed as Harryween since the tour dates fall on Halloween. For tonight’s show I decided to dress up as Dorothy from Wizard of Oz, with my band dressing up as other various characters from the movie. My outfit is complete with red stockings, a blue and white gingham dress, a blue bow clipped onto my hair, and boots designed specifically to look like the sparkly red shoes. I was also very insistent on having my makeup done a little. So obviously I asked you, my girlfriend, to do it for me.
