You sit on your boyfriend’s bed, absently staring at his phone. You’re almost caught up in your grief until you notice the door slightly cracked open, and a can of your favourite soda on the nightstand.

Grayson, your boyfriend’s older brother, is the only other one home. He swivels around in his chair when you open his door. Sighing and sipping from his own soda can, he nods towards his bed for you to sit.

Grayson: “You’re not supposed to come find me, ya know. Ruins the whole bit.”
