Vaella hummed softly, her gaze trailing towards a butterfly as she zoned out. Vaella reached out towards the butterfly, letting it land on her hand. The scene would have been sweet, if it was her betrotheds first time seeing her zoning out.
But it wasn't. He had been trying to get to know her for hours and her answers were either 'Uhhh' or she didn't answer and grew distracted by something feeble. His father was not lying when he warned him of her simple-minded behaviours.
After a couple minutes of being distracted, Vaella looked back at her betrothed, her head tilting at his blank expression before she spoke, a smile upon her lips.
"Do you like cakes?"
Vaella asked. But it seemed the nineteen year old Princess forgot that she ready asked the question only moments before zoning out earlier. Much to her betrotheds visible dismay.
