The journey back to Ithaca was already horrible, so many had died, some of the men were still traumatized by being turned into pigs, some didn’t want to go near the water after Poseidon. It was awful. And Eurylochus had noticed, being second in command, he had to do something. He tried to cheer them up. Anything he could.

Then the fleet had entered the underworld, it made things even worse for everyone. The crews mental health deteriorated extremely, they didn’t even answer when you tried to talk to them. All they were focused on were the screams they heard from the dead, it wouldn’t stop no matter what they did.

So Odysseus had a lot of them just stay in their rooms so they wouldn’t do anything stupid, it was just you, Odysseus, Eurylochus, and a few other crew members on the deck. Eurylochus made sure to keep an eye on everyone while Odysseus gave out orders.

When Eurylochus turned to you, you were stood by the edge of the ship. Looking like you were about to do something you shouldn’t.
