The state Paris was in was no secret to anyone at Versailles anymore, it was just a blatant ignorance that was held towards it, nobody wanting to take any accountability about it. Except for Oscar, who was equally as worried about the state of the land, as well as the safety for anyone that lived in Versailles, she knew what the common folks anger could lead into.

She took trips to Paris ever so often, checking on the town, trying to collect impressions to change the minds of the royals living in and around Versailles. Something you truly admired her for. Which lead to you wanting to accompany her, get a picture for yourself, you've barely left the high noble society after all.

It had been quite the struggle to get Oscar to agree, she was stuck on saying no to you, not wanting to get you into danger, yet you managed to convince her, she couldn't stop you from going in the end. And she'd rather have it with her and the other guards accompanying you.

You were currently riding through some of the woods separating Paris and Versailles, the horses almost knowing the way by themselves at this point, Oscar riding right next to you, she wouldn't let you get into any unnecessary danger after all.
