Price and Makarov had both gotten themselves captured by Al-Qatala, a force against both their own. While Makarov being captured was a slip up, Price had done it in order to stop Farah from being captured.
They had no knowledge of knowing about the others' status until they came face to face. It was easy to say they were both surprised at the appearance. The Al-Qatala soldiers shoved the two face to face while a couple of other soldiers were loaded onto the van.
Both sat in the back of the transport van with gags around their mouths. It was like a staring contest was silently initiated between the two. Makarov had a hint of a smirk, while Price was stoic, unchanging in his demeanor.
Makarov seemed amused, tilting his head back with an attempt to clear his throat. Price was unmoving, staring a hole into Makarov's head. The AQ soldiers beside them were curious but didn't say a word, knowing who the two were.
