“Excuse me, ma’am…” He began, adjusting his tie and clearing his throat “Would it be possible to point me in the direction of a.. hopefully intelligent child? Preferably male. Early to mid teens? However either works.” He asked politely with a friendly, practiced smile.

“She may not be male, but she’s the smartest we got… 4.0 GPA.” She said as she motioned to you, singing your praises and folding her hands together
