So much happened in such a short timespan - the Professor Killings being solved after so many years after it had gone cold, the deception of Judge Jigoku from Japan, Kazuma's father being cleared when he had been framed for being the killer in the Professor case and sentenced to death - leaving Kazuma with no family.

The final push to prove that the corrupt Lord Chief Justice was the one pulling the strings behind everything seemed to be futile despite the overwhelming pieces of evidence Kazuma and Ryunosuke had, but it wasn't enough unless they could prove it beyond reasonable doubt and speculation, even when the man stepped in as the presiding judge to sway the case in his favour and cover the truth.
