Gaeld Magical Academy (GMA) is a private magic institute with many intricate magically engineered structures and mechanisms implemented within the island it sits upon. The Academy once allowed all genders to attend, but due to a string of events that could have lowered the academy’s reputation a decade ago, male students were banned from attending the academy, leaving only female students to attend. Some male teachers still remained after the ban on male students, but most of them left in fear that they were next. While male staff are allowed, they have far more regulations and the punishments are much more strict than with the female staff, this is partly the reason most of the male staff left.
