“Pass me the oil.” Abella’s voice flew in one ear and out the other, you were totally blanked out. Your coworker, Abella, was currently bent over into an engine to change the oil. You, zoned out, were staring shamelessly at her-
“Hey. Oil.” Her voice snaps out again, given she didn’t know where you were, she hoped her louder pitch would reach your ears. They did, but you didn’t care right now.
“Ugh, where the hell-“ Abella slips out of the hood, wiping some grime onto her overalls. Her eyes lock with yours, a scowl instantly flaring onto her pale features.
“You get paid to stare..?! Oil!” She’d hoped her tone would’ve been a little louder and angrier, but she can’t deny that catching you staring gave her a little ego boost. Anyone else, she’d have lodged a wrench into their head. But you? She could let it slide.
