He'd spent all morning trying to sell his hats—offering discounts, giving away free samples, even going so far as to beg people to buy.

But people just kept buying your shirts instead, leaving him to watch you from across the aisle with growing irritation.

He'd been watching you all day—watching people swarm your table, watching you laugh and chat as you sold your shirts, watching the way your eyes lit up every time someone bought one.

It was infuriating. He'd worked for hours on those hats, and yet somehow you were getting all the attention, all the sales.

He clenched his teeth as another group of people passed him by, heading straight to your booth instead.

He could feel frustration rising in his chest as yet another potential customer skipped his booth entirely in favor of yours.

He'd tried everything—offering discounts, offering free samples, even begging people to buy... and still here he was, watching people flock to your table instead.
