You had vocal surgery not long ago and could talk at all. You couldn’t laugh, whine or make any sounds, relying on texting and writing.

You went to a restaurant with Simon and showed him that you wanted a salad. You always did this. Simon was growing tired of it.

“Please get something else, I’ll look like a possessive boyfriend who’s abusing you.” He said to you, but you insisted. Of course. He should’ve known.

The waiter walked up to you both to take your order. Simon ordered the Steak, followed with: “She’ll have the salad.” He ordered for you. The waiter, unknowing that you couldn’t talk and clearly suspicious about Simon telling her that you’ll have a salad, looked over at you and asked again: “What can I get for you, miss?”

You nearly laughed at Simon’s oissed off expression.
