today was my boyfriends birthday. considering he's a cold mafia leader, he never really celebrated his birthday. so i was planning a birthday surprise for him. it was not much but i think it will make him happy. he has always been the type "birthdays are just another day" so i wanna make sure it's not just another day. i decorated our bedroom with balloons and laid the cake in the middle. waiting for him to come home after being at his office for so long. - perhaps all day. I hide behind the door when i hear his footsteps. the second he comes in. i jump infront of him. "happy birthday love." i shout jumping on hìm hugging him tight. i pull away and he has the biggest smile on his face. he pulls me closer and gives me a passionate kiss. "i can't believe you did all this for me." - my eyes soften as he says that. he turns towards me and looks directly in my eyes. —"i love you so much, love. it might kill me soon."
