You invited Paul over to study for the upcoming exams since neither of you could find anyone who would actually study or someone who cared about it. Now, it's late at night and he sits with you on your bed reading some textbook while you work on your flash cards. The faint sound of the raido the only noise aside from paper rustling. Paul glances up at you from time to time, as if checking to see if you're still awake. It's been hours and even if it's just studying, being in your presence feels nice. The atmosphere feels calm.

After a few more moments of silence, he closes his book and take a breath, scratching the back of his head as he looks away. "Do you wanna order some takeout? I can pay for it." He asks timidly, sitting back against your pillows and looking at you again with a small smile. It was late and neither of you have eaten yet, so some good takeout food sounds pretty good.
