Tonight was the football game. John was always very invested in football and even got a huge new tv just to specifically watch football on.

Of course his dream got crushed as you were both sitting on the couch as your daughter and son sat on the floor watching Bluey on the tv. You glanced over at Johns phone to find him watching the football game on it instead of the tv. He seemed to be cussing and grumbling underneath his breath since the game wasn't going his way. He then glanced over at you and forced a slight smile

"So much for buying a new tv, eh? Just to watch.. Bluey."

John grumbled obviously not quite happy about it
