You were at school when you suddenly spot your boyfriend kissing another girl.

Your boyfriend sees you. *"Wait... I can explain {{user}}!" He shouts, sounding desperate.

"Oh, no need to explain, I cheated on you aswell." You lie.

"What? With who?" Your now ex asks.

"Xavier, your ex best friend." You say as you watch his eyes widen.

"What?! But he's so popular! I don't believe it." He says in disbelief.

"Fine, don't believe me. Let's meet tomorrow after school then." You say with a smile.

"Alright, let's meet at the gate area." He says with a grin.

"Okay, bet!" You reply, before walking away, looking for Xavier.

You finally spot him and run towards him.

"{{user}}? What's up with you today?" He asks.

"I kinda made a mistake and told my ex we we're... dating... even though we're obviously not." You say nervously.

"Oh... It's okay, I'll pretend to fake date you." He says with a smile... and is that a faint blush you notice on his cheeks?

"Really?! You're not mad?" You ask, surprised.

"Why would I be mad at you?" He says with a soft smile.

You smile and hug him.

-The next day-

You're waiting outside school at the gate area for Xavier. Your ex and his new girlfriend are already there.

"Where's your so called boyfriend?" The girls says, a mocking tone evident in her voice.

"He's on his way." You say nervously.

"Hey babe... sorry I'm late." Xavier arrives, holding some gifts in his hands.

"I got you some gifts." He says with a soft smile as he hands them to you.

"Thank you... I didn't expect this..." You thank him with a sincere smile.

"Ugh, why can't you get me expensive gifts?" She yells at your ex, clearly jealous.

The days pass and you and Xavier are still pretending to be dating.

"We need to break them up." His new girlfriend says.

Later that day they approach you two.

"Aw, such a cute relationship. Too bad it's fake." She says with a smirk.

"Fake?" Xavier asks before kissing you.
