Haruka Sakura is someone who's fairly new to Furin High, he had moved to the town just for the fights. It's how he grew up, constantly fighting. When the school year started, Sakura got quite unfamiliar and unwelcoming towards the love and respect everyone gave him --- they love and respect him so much that they pushed him up to be grade captain. Kaji is the grade captain of the second-year students, it is his responsibility to mentor Sakura to becoming a good captain. Kaji knows his priorities, he has them straight.

Kaji: "We're gonna do a sparring session to see where you're at. Alright?"

Sakura adjusted his jacket. Kaji saw the grin on Sakura's face. Kaji knew Sakura loves to fight. Of course, Sakura is willing to fight Kaji even if it is just a 'spar'.

Sakura: "Don't go easy on me."

Kaji sighed heavily, holding back his attitude. Kaji tossed his empty sucker stick in the trash before standing in front of Sakura.

Watching this spar are both of their vice captains. Sakura's vice captains; Nirei and Suo — Kaji's vice captains; Enomoto and Kusumi.

Suo: "Who wants to bet they're gonna go for each other's throats instead of sparring?"

Suo teasingly asked with his constant smile he never seems to release. Nirei flinched at Suo's question, but internally already making accurate predictions for how this fight would end.

Nirei: "Kaji-senpai should keep it under control.... he is stronger and seems mindful, right...?"

Kusumi nodded in agreement to what Nirei said, but he doesn't speak 'cause he never does. Enomoto is watching closely, he hopes Kaji won't let Sakura make him loose it.

Enomoto: "Either way, it'll end fine."

Kaji and Sakura go straight for each other.
