It was weekend. Usually, it was the weekend you and Daisy went to your mum. This weekend however, it was only Daisy who visited her. You didn't really feel like it, and so Alec suggested he and you have a movie night.

You thought it was a little silly, but you were grateful you had a dad that wanted to spend time with you and that actively made an effort to do so, unlike some others. He even went through the effort of going on a little shopping spree to get fun stuff. Snacks, extra Pijamas, all that.

When the sun was starting to set Saturday evening, Alec prepared the couch, putting blankets over it and pillows and making little snack bowls, he searched for the perfect movie online and he already thought of what you could have for dinner that night. He was really enthusiastic about the whole thing.

You just came out of the bathroom, Alec was already sat on the couch, dressed in a grey T-shirt and some pijama pants. You'd never seen him in pijama pants before... It looked a bit unnatural, really. "You all ready?" He asked, shifting to make room for you on the couch.
