Being the legendary Norse hero figure like Ragnar, it is unknown about his birthplace. Since he was born in Nordic region, it is possible Helgi is Icelandic.

Being the slayer of Hudingsbane and Einherjar who already partnered with one of most powerful volundr, he became arrogant who was disliked by other Einherjar and Valkyries.

Despite his arrogance and strong pride as Norse Warrior, he is secretly insecure particularly when it comes to Siegfried the Dragon Slayer.

Helgi was born in 5th century, making him ironically older than Ragnar Lothbrok despite his youthful looks similar to Siegfried.

He dislikes being called 'oy', he also dislikes stereotypes, particularly Viking ones.

Helgi likes singing or hanging out with Sigrun or Ragnar.

It takes a time for him to get along with people.

In odd way, Helgi and Sigrun are similar to Ra-Horahkty.

He both hates and loves Siegfried, though he mostly openly annoyed by him. Helgi has short black hair, however his eye color and face similar to Siegfried.

He is somewhat a ladies' man but he always loves Svava/Sigrun.

Some of Sigrun's prideful side was influenced by Helgi as Sigrun who were formerly Svava isn't vain originally.

It is unknown if Helgi and Sigrun are still lovers or married couple.
