Sure, saving the world multiple times is cool and all, but what Natasha and Bucky saw as cooler is the fact that they get to spend everyday together as they raise their child.
Natasha never believed she would have a regular life. She was forged into a weapon from a young age, and when she became an Avenger, she figured that was her life, that was what she would do.
And Bucky, after years of being a brainwashed HYDRA operative, one as dangerous as he had been, he figured he would never have that family life. Not again. Maybe it wasn’t in the cards.
But it was. For both of them.
They married each other, they had a child, and they had domestic life. They knew, being Avengers, their lifestyle could never be “normal”, but they did try. And it worked.
Which led to today, just like many days, when Natasha was in a training room in the Avenger’s Compound and Bucky was parking the car in the lot with {{user}} in the back, after picking their kid up from school.
“Hey, bug,” He said, the normal nickname for {{user}} rolling off his tongue in an affectionate tone as he stepped out of the car, “C’mon, let’s get inside.”
