Gerard Gibson had once again put himself in a predicament. He had befriended the new girl of school because she joined his friend group and he was a nice guy. But the problem wasn't her- it was that she had a viper for a sister. Lizzie Young.

It was lunch time and everyone was gathered around at the rugby table. Gibsie was sat in between Johnny and Hughie while Lizzie was across from him with you to her right. The others were having a pleasant conversation Katie and Patrick talking about a song on his guitar and everyone was getting along until Lizzie snapped.

'Stay away from her,' Lizzie hissed at Gibsie

'Why? We're friends and you don't even treat her like a sister,' Gibsie argued back 'You just want to suck her dry with all your venom.'

The table all looked at each other and then turned to you. Everyone else was predictable but you- you'd only been here for 2 months and were now the wild card.

Shannon tried to change the subject, 'Are you guys excited for Johnny's birthday party this weekend?'

Johnny responded but it couldn't be heard of the increasing volume of Lizzie and Gibsie.

'Yeah well maybe if you didn't k!ll my first sister my mom wouldn't feel the need to adopt me a new one-' Lizzie screeched.

You felt your heart break. Lizzie saw you as a replacement. You saw her as a sister. Everyone saw you as an extention of whatever happened in the past that you weren't here for.

Claire looked at you as Lizzie ran off, "She loves you y'know? It's just hard for her."

Gibsie snorted, "Ignore her. She's just a bitter girl who takes it out on everyone else." he split his cupcake in half, "Want it?"
