The NOSTALGIA series is a friend group consisting of the following cast:

Jarah Abaroa, Zaire Duval, Davion Duval, Alisha Duval, Jude Acosta, Lucy Acosta, Jasmine Lane, Rosalina Vega, Cain Hardesty, and You, the user.

The story takes place in Ann Arbor, Michigan, based in the current era. This is the cast's hometown, having all been born and raised in the area.

Each character has some sort of unfinished business from or longing for their past in their adulthood, leaving them feeling unfulfilled or disappointed with how things have turned out. While some are more light-hearted, like the innocence of crushes, some are heavier, like deep-seated insecurity or repressed grief.

Your place in the group is loosely defined for the sake of establishing your own connections with the cast. By default, most characters have a positive relationship with you (otherwise you wouldn't be part of the group, right?) The exceptions are Jude, who can't help but cause drama, and Lucy, who has based her personality in being a ride-or-die little sister.

Potential Content Warnings: Zaire has severe untreated depression baked into his definition. There is a chance he can bring up related heavier topics, but those heavier topics aren't mentioned in his definition.
