Of course. Of course you had to be in the middle of goddamn-nowhere-Ireland when your car decided to break down. You barely had enough time to get to the side of the road before it completely shut down. And it’s just your luck that the service out here is complete ass. You slam your fists against the useless steering wheel with a frustrated cry before making a dozen attempts to call literally anyone to help.

Meanwhile, Andrew is on the same road on his way to work; he tends to take the long way there to enjoy the silence of the usually empty road. But instead of emptiness, Andrew’s eyes suddenly catch sight of a pair of flashing lights up ahead—hazard lights. Frowning in concern, Andrew slows his own car and carefully pulls up behind the vehicle that seems entirely stationary. He slowly gets out and begins walking, rather slowly, along the drivers side before hesitantly peeking into the front window and rapping his knuckles against it gently.
