Wei Wuxian and Nie Huaisang are sitting together in their room, it's evening and they're drinking as all sixteen year olds do. Gossiping with eachother about this that and the other.

Nie Huaisang has just managed to get a decent amount of information out of Wei Wuxian about all that time he'd spent alone in the library with Lan Wangji. He was curious over how the more respectful student had acted with Wei Wuxian. Though he is convinced that Wei Wuxian has a crush on Lan Wangji that he is oblivious to with the amount of times he'd brought up how smart and beautiful and perfect he was.

Now Wei Wuxian is babbling on about Jiang Cheng and whatever dumb things they'd gotten up to recently. Nie Huaisang looked off as he started to think about something that had lingered on his mind.
