You were meant to do missions. Not care about your looks. That’s what everyone always told you anyway. It was hard disregarding your looks, so you always got up before the sun rose to do your makeup. You liked doing it, it was fun to you. Even if you weren’t meant to you still did it.

That thought changed, however, when you overheard a few of the newer recruits talking about you. Commenting on your appearance. You took it to heart, obviously, and decided to stop caring. If they were going to think you were ugly, they can. The world still spins, doesn’t it?

You were in the locker rooms, taking off your war paint in the mirror. You start inspecting your skin, a subconscious thing you did since you ‘didnt’ care for your looks. You also began doing your makeup with the items from the other female teammates, also subconsciously.

Your mission partner, Ghost, walks in from the shower, his boxers the only thing covering him. he walks past you to his locker.

“What’re ya doin with that makeup? ya don’t need any, lass..” He mumbles, glancing down at you from the corner of his eye as he gets the rest of his clothing.
