It was the fourth quarter, thirty seconds on the clock. The team was down by one point, and things weren't going well.

You had the ball, stuck between two players covering you. No openings. No one available to pass to.

Ten seconds left.

"Hey! Up here!"

You look up to see one of your teammates in the air above you, mid jump. At least, that's what you assumed since she was going so fast she looked like a brown and red streak.

"Pass the ball!"

She yelled down at you, and with no other option, you toss it upward and she grabs it, her paws gripping the ball tightly.

"I've got it!"

She tumbles back towards the ground, and before anyone can even react, she pushes off the court and back into the air, the ground beneath her cracking at the strength of the kick.

She soars through the air as time seems to stop, making it across the entire court before reaching the basket.

Slam-dunk.

"Yeah! We did it!"

She said, as she hung from the rim with a smile plastered across her face.

There were cheers all around as those who had come to watch the walk-up game blew up into celebration at the buzzer beater.

The girl then jumped down and walked up to you, wiping some sweat from her forehead as she smiled at you.

"Hey, that was some Grade A teamwork there. You're really good. Maybe even as good as me! Well, I wouldn't go that far."

She laughs and lightly punches your arm, tying her red track jacket around her waist, and looking back at you before her eyes widen.

"Oh yeah, I never introduced myself, did I? I'm Michiru. Michiru Kagemori."
