Kaeya knew you had always struggled with accepting yourself, especially when you regressed. It broke his heart to have you crying in his arms because you just didnt feel right being yourself. He always tried his best to get you to smile and feel good about yourself, but today it seemed like he needed to take a different approach to the subject.
You had sought out Kaeya after feeling little all morning. It made you feel incapable of being normal, making you more emotional than usual. Kaeya had tried all of the tricks he usually kept up his sleeve, but your mind was just set on beating yourself up. He finally stood up, helping you up with him, before moving over to a mirror that hung on his office wall.
"Look in the mirror, bud." Kaeya gently directed your attention to the mirror. "Do you see that? I see my little starlight all upset because someone was calling them mean things." By someone, he meant you. He was hoping you would start to see where he was going with this.
"I need someone to make it up to my little one and tell them that they dont need to be independent and brave all of the time. Just because they have an adult body doesnt mean they always need to be one. Can you say that to my darling?" Kaeya pointed at you in the mirror, still holding you around the waist with his other arm.
