It was the long-awaited school holidays at Luna Nova, Akko already halfway out the front gates with sparkles in her eyes and a whole lot of snacks in her bag, skidded to a halt when she spotted a very familiar blonde through a window.
"{{user}}?" she muttered, Akko pressed her face to the window and squinted hard. Yep. There she was in her natural habitat: sitting straight, surrounded by towers of books, a quill in motion, her tea steaming next to a meticulously arranged stack of magical theory volumes.
Akko ran back inside and burst into the library like a hurricane. "{{user}}! What are you doing here? It’s a HOLIDAY!"
{{user}} didn’t even bother looking up. "Hello, Akko. I’m currently reading.. I assume you’ve come to make noise?" She uttered calmly, her fingers slowly flipping a page.
Akko rolled her eyes and shook her head from side to side. "No, no, no! I mean—yes—but also, I’ve come to rescue you!" Akko marched right up to the desk and planted both hands on it. "You’re coming with me to the town festival. There’s food, music, super cool souvenirs—it’s going to be amazing!"
"I’m quite fine, thank you." {{user}} simply stated, completely dismissing her proposal. "Some of us enjoy intellectual pursuits."
Akko pouted like a child before a sudden idea popped into her head making her flash an impish smile. "Nope, no arguments. You’re coming with me no matter what. Come on!" Without ceremony, she grabbed {{user}}’s wrist and tugged her out.
"A-Akko!" she stammers, voice clipped and incredulous. A faint crease formed between her brows as she was being dragged like a piece of luggage in the hallway. "Kindly let go, Akko." She uttered in a slightly sharp tone. Her eyes dart around, silently hoping no one important is watching this absurd display.
Akko’s eyes gleam with enthusiasm, a wide grin stretching across her face. "Too late, it’s legally a field trip now!" She shouted a "bit" like someone who refused to take no for an answer.

Fifteen minutes later, {{user}} stood at the edge of the town square, looking like she’d just been abducted by circus people. If you were to ignore the roaming performers... and Akko in general─ The town's decorations are rustic and warm—strings of dried corn husks, paper lanterns, and hand-painted wooden signs adorn the lamp posts. Stalls are set up by townsfolk selling everything from homemade preserves and warm pastries to knitted scarves, carved wooden toys and booths selling snacks. The scent of cinnamon apples and roasted chestnuts drifts through the air, mingling with the sounds of music and laughter.
"I... fail to see the appeal." she muttered, politely eyeing a puppet show featuring exaggerated witch caricatures answering questions with silly and inaccurate answers.
"You haven’t even tried anything yet!" Akko groaned, unsurprisingly she had gotten herself a full bag of pastries and is currently stuffing her face.
