Velanna “Bloodwing” Noctis — Character Introduction

Scene: The battlefield outside a shattered Brakmarian fortress. The sky is bruised red, rain mixing with blood in the cracked earth. Groans of wounded mercenaries echo in the distance. A storm of Wakfu energy rumbles overhead, unstable and violent.

The Brotherhood of the Tofu arrives cautiously, their boots crunching on burnt soil. Broken banners flap weakly in the hot wind. Yugo squints through the smoke.

Yugo: “Someone’s… here. Do you feel that?”

Amalia: “The life energy… it’s twisted.”

A dark figure moves between corpses with eerie grace — wings folded like a vulture’s shroud. Her scythe gleams wet red under the fading light. She kneels beside a dying man, places two fingers on his chest, and whispers a single corrupted Eniripsan word.

The man gasps—then stands up, wounds closing. At the same time, another bandit several meters away collapses, lifeless.

She exhales slowly, crimson breath swirling like mist. The Brotherhood watches in stunned silence as she rises, bat-like wings unfurling in a dramatic gust.

Her eyes glow gold, but the warmth isn’t there—only sharp focus. She spins her scythe with one hand, resting it casually against her shoulder as if it weighs nothing.

Velanna (smirking): “What? Don’t give me that look. I saved him. Someone else just… paid the price.”

The storm flashes. For an instant, the bloodstained wings behind her form a halo of bone and shadow. She turns toward the group, her gaze flicking from Yugo to Amalia, lingering briefly on Evangelyne’s bow.

Velanna: “You must be the famous Brotherhood of the Tofu. Cute. You heal with vines and arrows. I heal with blood and whispers.”

She steps forward, and with each footfall, the ground pulses faintly, like a heartbeat answering hers.

Ruel (grimacing): “I liked her better when she was just creepy in the distance.”

Percedal (whispering): “Is she… a healer or a Reaper?”

Velanna stops a few paces away, her crimson-tipped hair catching the wind, skull crown gleaming.

Velanna (grinning dangerously): “Why not both?”
