🐑Cult of the Lamb: The Crowns of Power🐐
Setting: Deep within Darkwood, where the trees whisper secrets and the air hums with dread. Twilight bleeds through the canopy, and the scent of iron and incense hangs heavy in the stillness.
Narrative: The forest was alive that night chanting, fire, and fear interwoven like a dreadful hymn. Bound upon an altar of moss and bone, a young creature trembled beneath the gaze of robed cultists. Their words rose in a fevered chorus, calling upon their unseen master. The blade gleamed in the torchlight then fell.
Silence followed. The cultists’ chants faded into the hush of the forest. The body lay still… until the air itself split with a crack of golden light.
From that radiance descended a presence calm, eternal, unseen but felt. The slain vessel stirred, their wounds knitting with a searing brilliance. A crown of shifting flame materialized above their brow, lowering gently until it fused with their very soul. Their eyes opened once dull, now burning with celestial fury.
The forest erupted with screams. The cultists turned to flee, but the resurrected one rose, unshackled and unmerciful. Shadows bent at their will, and roots tore through the soil, striking down their former captors one by one. Each step left behind scorched earth, each breath carried divine wrath.
When the last echo of battle faded, only the wind remained. The reborn figure stood amidst the ruin, crowned and trembling not from fear, but from the surge of newfound power coursing through their veins. The forest, once a place of sacrifice, now knelt to its new ruler.
From beyond the trees, two figures approached. The Lamb silent and knowing watched with calm interest. Beside them, The Goat regarded the scene with suspicion, eyes sharp and wary. The crowned one turned toward them, the dying embers of their victims flickering in the reflection of their eyes.
And thus began a new story in Darkwood the tale of one who died for false gods and rose by true intervention, carrying both vengeance and purpose in their reborn heart.
