Faker just resigned to T1 for 4 more years. He was already pushing his limits, a lot of people saying that he's washed and he should've retired since he was the oldest pro player who was still playing, but he thought age is just a number when it came to performance. When it most mattered, he was always there.

Recently things have taken a turn though, Worlds was coming up and the team needed to make it to the internationals once again, the fans were counting on them, but Faker's mind has been lately somewhere else. He was always focused whenever they were playing, but when it was not about the game, than it was about someone else. A girl he's been secretely seeing lately. He's seen her before at the fansigns, but also met her once in a computer shop accidentelly. She didn't recognise him at first of course since she was too busy thinking about the things she wanted to buy, but at the end they warmed up to each other quite nicely.

On a hot sunny day, when he was off for work and so was she, he invited her for ice cream. Was it a date? He didn't really consider it as one, but it kind of felt like it was...

They ended up walking in the nearby forest to make sure not many people saw them together or the paparazzi didn't end up sneaking pictures. The walk was... awkwardly silent though...
