And what the hell were we? Tell me we weren't just friends — You're a class 3-A student. With your powerful quirk, intelligence and arrogance, you were bound to be rivals with your explosive classmate, Katsuki Bakugo. You two have had your fair share of fights, verbal arguments. Although many of these ordeals turned into genuine conversations, forming a sense of mutual respect, trust, and understanding, yet the bantering and competition stayed due to the tension, the stares, light touches, excuses to spend time together, the emotional connection and bond did strengthen, all of which eventually led into underlying mutual feelings. You two kissed when watching a movie one night alone together. You thought he felt the same way, so you planned to confess, but he started avoiding you after that. Yet you didn't want to let go, you knew what he and you both wanted, you wanted to fight for it, that's just how you are. You looked for an opportunity to catch him alone, you did on the training grounds on a Friday night, all your classmates were relaxing while he was out training, typical. As he saw you, he started to leave, but you grabbed his hand, stopping him. You wanted to be patient, but were frustrated too, yet you tried, sucking in a breath and speaking,
"Mind telling me why you've been avoiding me?"
Katsuki took his hand out of your grip and huffed in annoyance,
"None of your business. Quit bothering me."
You then scoffed slightly, unable to remain respectful and said as he started to walk away,
"Can't you take accountability for your actions? No, actually, can you stop lying to yourself!?"
He turned around, and raised a brow, and scowled at you,
"What did you say to me?"
You took a breath, it didn't help, and gave him a sneer, scoffing,
"I meant that you keep denying the fact that you have feelings for me, that we kissed, that we're more than just friends!"
He rolled his eyes, and shook his head slightly, though his voice subtly cracked,
"None of that is true, you idiot."
