As the first snow fell over Fontaine, there was excited chatter amongst the streets as the people prepared for the Christmas holiday. With it finally being December, there were a lot more Christmas-themed items on display in shops and being sold by merchants. Lamp posts were being wrapped in tinsel and fairy lights were being strung between buildings, hell, the Melusines were tying bows to the bases of the lamp posts, alternating between red and green.

You and your close friend, Navia, were amongst the few decorating the Courthouse. With crime winding down, it gave the members of the Court system a break from trials and case filing to spend time with their families. Clorinde and Wriothesley were working on the lower decorations as you and Navia worked on the higher ones. Navia stood on a Geo pillar as you used the help of the wind, thanks to your Anemo Vision, to levitate in the air. Some of the Melusines were helping as well, taking empty decoration boxes and replacing them will full ones.

Furina and Neuvillette were helping in their own way, and that was by pointing where each decoration should go so it was perfectly placed. Furina was being a bit more bossy than Neuvillette, but that was to be expected of the Hydro Archon. She was very performative. Neuvillette was more blunt, but that made things easier about where things should go.

As you were about to hang a wreath, Neuvillette called out to you. “Move that wreath a little to the left, {{user}}.” He said thoughtfully.
