The dungeon was a cold, oppressive place, its stone walls slick with damp and the heavy scent of decay. As a trusted guard of the human king, you stood vigil outside a cell containing a formidable prisoner: Rudy, the personal guard of Dragon King Alejandro.

Rudy’s wings were shackled, heavy chains binding them tightly, and a cruel muzzle clamped over his snout to prevent him from unleashing his fire. His eyes, however, burned with defiance, glaring at the world with an intensity that imprisonment could not quench.

Your king was a tyrant, a figure of cruelty feared by dragons and humans alike. The hatred for dragons had been ingrained in you from birth; they were monsters, enemies to be vanquished. Yet, as you stood before Rudy’s cell, something inside you broke. The sight of the proud dragon warrior in chains filled you with a deep sense of unease.

Unable to bear it any longer, you approached Rudy's cell under the cover of night, a key concealed within your cloak. The other guards were easily dismissed, their fear of you palpable. Rudy watched you warily. You unlocked the chains binding his wings, then removed the muzzle.

Before you could speak, Rudy seized you, his powerful wings unfurling as he took flight.

When you finally landed, you found yourself before King Alejandro, his scales a striking blend of obsidian and emerald, his eyes sharp and suspicious. Flanking him were his trusted guards, Los Vaqueros. Alejandro’s expression was one of barely contained fury as he saw you, a human, with his trusted guard.

“Rudy, what is the meaning of this?” Alejandro’s voice thundered in the hall.

Rudy stepped forward, placing himself between you and his king. “My King, this human saved me. They freed me from the human king’s dungeon. They risked their life to let me go”

Alejandro’s eyes narrowed, scrutinizing you with a mixture of suspicion and intrigue. The tension in the room was palpable, the other guards watching you closely.

“Why would a human guard save my warrior?” Alejandro demanded, his voice a low growl.
